How much are tyres on 19" wheels???

I'm guessing they are a lot as 18" tyres cost the earth

CHeap effective mods, read Ruddmeisters Mk1 Leon suspension sticky

ARB kit, dogbone mount, shortshift as above, 312mm brake conversion, strut braces at the front and do something about the ride height

Personally I like the wheels.

Agree with Fest - brake upgrade, suspension make a nice difference to the car.

I dont like the alloys as they look to big for the car...might be because it hasnt got a cupra body kit on.

well a budget tyre for a 20" was £150 and that was with discount , should imagine a 19" would cost about £130 for a budget or so

i really dont know they came on the car with pretty much new tyres but yeh definately going to cost a fair bit for the rubber if it was to ever go.

ok decided first mod is going to be body kit a cupra r one and lowering

and there is no rubbing at all. not over ramps n none when you full lock either

Ok I have a question, and I hope it isn't a stupid one, but I can't work it out...

When fitting bigger wheels, you also fit lower profile tyres, to try to minimize the change in overall wheel+tyre diameter, right? So how come Jazzy's car looks like its riding so high? Surely the ride height can't have changed that much??
