Last night i took one of the front wheels off to discover that one of the bolts is substantially longer than the rest.

Should they all be the same length? If so how long should they be?

Cheers

should be same length, just watch it dosnt clip your abs sensor and cage when you put it in!

just seen your other post about the clicking, the longer wheel bolt has pushed the abs cage into the sensor and smashed it. bet your abs light is lit too on the dash.

Just been out for a real good look at the abs sensor and cage.

with the wheel off and rotating the brake disk (which is only help on by the wheel and a small guide pin, might i add) the cage doesn't touch the abs sensor.

If i fit the wheel back on, tighten the bolts and then spin the wheel. It spins quite freely and doesn't get harder to rotate as it turns.

It got dark before i could check the other side, but i was sure the passenger side was where the noise was coming from. I've been wrong before so will check the other side tomorrow.

I'm going to take it to my mechanic for him to take a look on friday all being well!

When cornering and accelerating something is making a noise from the passenger side as well.
