Any tips on removing track rod end ? I've got the nut off, but cant remove the rod because it must be seized.

I've tried WD40 and hammering (with the nut on) but no luck

Thinking I will need to buy something like this...

WD40 is for displacing water and lubricating . It is not very effective for unseizing stuck nuts.

Try PlusGas penetrating oil or a mixture of diesel and acetone.

I bought the ball joint splitter and that worked a treat.

Does anyone know the torque setting for the replacement nut on the outer track rod end, I can't seem to find it in the manual.

And does it have to be toqrued when the vehicle is on the ground ?

No need to touch the drive shaft bolt, just undo the strut pinch bolt and lower ball joint.
Lucky. Leon owners then, at least some VW Group cars end up with the drive shaft fouling the lower arm when trying to push things down to clear the end of the strut out from the hub, well on one side only.
