Hi All

I'm getting a smell of oil inside the cabin of my LCR Mk1. There is no obvious oil leak but has anyone else experienced this, and what was found?
Thanks

Could it be the gasket around the rocker cover leaking and letting oil drip down onto the exhaust manifold which is next to the bulkhead, so maybe fumes getting in?

My other thought is one of the vac pipes as they perish with age, especially the Y shaped one on the rocker cover or any of the pcv pipes.

As manny said, the PCV hoses are carrying oily vapours, so they would definitely be the prime suspects. I replaced mine with a cheap set from ebay, they are still ok after 3 or 4 years.
