Oil in air intake

when i was fitting my induction kit at the weekend i noticed some oil in the air intake pipe dose this mean my turbo is knackerd and how serious is it?

sounds like a smear,like said the breather will carry oil vapour and it will settle on air intake.if all is well dont worry,excessive smoke or oil consumption??

that looks worrying..... is that coming out of ur turbo?, if so could be shaft bearings on the turbo shagged:(

dosent smoke and it dosent loose any oil so must be ok then cheers guys!!:D

hardly worth reconning its in the turbos nature to loose a little bit,its when it appears as smoke out of the tailpipe you have issues.

mine is dry but doesnt make it any better than a weaper

306 dturbo, white...and brown stripes!
The car was still running but the blue smoke was rediculous, by the time i pulled over and turned the engine off all lanes of the m1 (belfast) were totally obscured, cars had to crawl past and i think mr 306 learned his tailgating lesson.

i also had some oil in my air pipes from the intercooler.. Nothing like above though :s

I remember forge cleaning the old intercooler pipes off when fitting the new one, they didnt mention anything being wrong so im not worried :)
