I'm looking at the carbon/leather one as we speak...

I was going to go for the carbon/leather one until I seen this one in D.K's thread.

Looking good, what model is that off mate? How much was it if ya dont mind me asking? :)

Cheers Mike, well I was told by Dave at Sere motors there for a mk2 Leon but it fits fine. I paid £86 but there's a link on this thread for £68.

Small update. Won an Audi strutbrace off of eBay on the weekend and it's turned up today. It's off of an Audi TT not the S3 but from doing some research on it I found that it should fit. Looks the same as the s3 one so hopefully it fits. Didn't pay much for it so thought it was worth a go. Looks a little bit tatty so going to rub it down and respray it. Just had a quick go at lining it up and looks a little tricky to get it past the bonnet lifter so if anyone's got advise on how to do it I would appreciate it :). Also wheres the best place to pick up some nuts and bolts?

I'll get some pics up of it soon once I've tidied it up and got it fitted.

Thanks for reading :D

hello nick, i read somewhere that the tt strut will need a tiny bit of grinding to make it fit, im guessing this grinding is to get it past the lifter. got your cloths here aswell m8. by the way my car is running poor since i took you out :(. did some logs last night and pulled 228gs but torque is gone.

Hello mate! Yeah I've read that also, I'm a bit scared to do it myself drlling, grinding etc even though I'm trained as an aircraft fitter. Dont want to mess up my car not bothered if I mess up an aircraft wing lol! But I'm getting a service on my car next month at Badger 5 so might see if they can fit it for me. Sweet cheers I'll give you a bell this weekend to come pick em up and have a good chat like always :D.

Sorry to hear about the car :( bad times mate! Any ideas on what's going on, or you going to pop up to bills to have it checked out?

i think my injectors are maxed out to much so will need a 4bar pressure regulator, and my timing needs adjustment due to warmer outside temps, so both jobs can be done at the same time at bills. i have to do more logs yet but from the ones i have done there doesnt seem much too wrong apart from timing pull.

Well hopefully you'll have it sorted and all back to normal soon.

You fitted your coilovers yet? Also did you see that guy about making up those coilpack covers?

Ahh thats better:)

I know people have been de-badging the cars latley but i like the look with them on rather than off. I thought the car looked a bit naked without them.

Bit of a boring update but thanks for looking :D

Hi everyone! Not been on here for a while now:ban: Been trying to keep myself away as I'm saving my pennies to buy a house this year. Only been back on for like a week now browsing around and almost bought the Badger 5 v2 tip within minutes lol! Anyways didn't end up buying as I realized my cambelt needed doing so I'v got that booked in this Friday. Been quoted £350 all in and thats for the belt, tensioners, and water pump. I thought that was about right. Anyways other than that I haven't done anything new to the car in the last 6 months except cleaning it every week :D (Pictures from the weekend, nearly froze to death but it was worth it)

Planning on getting the badger 5 v2 induction kit with the BMC twin cone and heat-shield. I've got to pay for cambelt and 6 months tax this month so most likely wont be until March now. Also I was looking at getting some wheel nut covers as mine never came with any. Can anyone recommend the best place to source these and is it still possible to cover the locking wheel nuts?

Thanks for looking. Sorry it's been so long!

Cheers mate! I do like to keep it clean :D

Cool I'll drop him an email wouldnt of thought they would cost that much. Can you still use them to cover the locking wheel nut?

I checked out your RR the other day, cars beautiful as always and I'm really liking the alloys really suits the car.

Seen you and Darren serviced your DV's the other day. Did you notice much difference? Think mine needs doing, did you order the kit direct from Forge?
