New to Cordoba. Half Leather interior with#1 logo - what's that about?

I'm new to the Cordoba. Mines a 1999 2.0 SX model.

The interior in the car is a mint black half leather and I've just noticed a #1 logo stitched into the cloth centre section of the seats - and I've just noticed the #1 logo in the browser bar above. Is this #1 a SEAT theme???

What's that all about? Is this in all Cordoba models or just in the 2.0 ABF like mine???

I haven't got a picture yet sorry - and I saw it in the dark. It's a 4 headrest interior with black half leather and hte cloth (I think) is a sandyish colour (looks nice) with a slightly darker thread embroidery/patrn in it and I'm sure there's a#1 amongst it.

Sorry I thought this would be a simple question - ha ha - as if Is it somethingquite rare then by the sound of it?

In the dark it wasquite hard to mentally grab the whole image and from memory. I'll get a picture on Saturday...

it's one of the sporty styles used for trim

Is very similar to yours with headrests and half black leather but the cloth element is a different colour and has #1 plus other racing/sporting motifs very subtly stitched in.

I'll have to draw a disclaimer at this point as I can't remember clearly.

ta-daa..! I got some pictures!!! God it was bloody cold today so just took some quick snaps.

So is this trim a run of mill style or an unusual one? Fl@pper mentioned a sports style trim, so is this a standard one or a bit rarer?

Also did the Cordoba's come with red seat belts. Quite unusual. They look very clean so I was wondering if they were added after? Interested to know.

Was there not 2 options for the seats when the car was new. I'm sure the tiger style was normal run and thei was optional and had to be ordered.. Probably not very many with that trim in it tho....

That's interesting. Where is it embroidered, on the thin leather strip between the 2 cloth panels?? Or elsewhere?

I must admit I didn't notice it on mine, but it might have been there.

yep its where you described, around shoulder height...yours has nothing embroided as i can see from the pic

same style trim in my copper one and text same as crezz (Gti 16v) embroidered in the black strip in that pic above, rubs on ya shirt and is annoying at times

My 1999/V reg Cordy 2.0 16v SX has the exact same interior. Never noticed the "1" in all the time I've had it!!
