I think @Number1Plates are having email problems. They are usually quite responsive via FB messenger if you're on there.

I've had no problems with Scotch number plate pads - even with curves. Not a fan of screws either.

I think tbh its just the front material that is casing the adhesion issues ,ive used stuck on plates for years but not even gonna try any more with this car, the rear is ok but the front no.
as for number 1 plates i will give them until monday to reply ,i really hate dealing with a company i cannot pick up a phone and speak to. a bit disappointed to be honest, and the plates they sent do not have the correct bsau 145e stamp ,they did say they would replace them to be fair .

Google comes up with 0844 286 9856. Might be worth a try.

So sorry I got you into that; such a contrast from my experience. :(
Hey no worries ,i'm still hoping they sort it out......they sent the plates with the wrong BSAU stamp on as well ....i've had a run in with the old bill before on plates quite recently so want to 100% legal this time...

Sounds like a lot of hassle with plates.

I used sticky pads on Abarth, because dealer sticked/glued plate to the car and I couldn't remove it to swap for private one. So just used the pads and attached my plate to original one. Was removing it yesterday after 2.5y and it was still quite an effort to do this. So these sticky pads for plates are quite good. I wouldn't trust velcro tape.

And on Formentor, I put plate frames I got in Poland at car meeting. They fit perfectly and I have no issues with them.

yes had some wurth frames on the beemer worked brill.can't find one i like for the formentor ,more than likely stick the rear and drill the front .its the type of mottled plastic that won't take self adhesive well ,over the years i've stuck loads over the years , never ever had one not take until now ...and yep lots of alcohol to prep first .
