Maybe to look at ....... mechanically it's never been quite right

It was a bit of a pig to drive last time it was out - dodgy brakes, loose/tired steering rack ... but my £2k+ insurance premium soon solved that little problem for me.
So it's been parked up at work for a bit, then they told me to move it, so now it's being used as a 2nd shed to house all my car bits.

That's a shame, how much would it cost to get it all fixed you think?

To be fair, a lot of the problem parts are being ripped out anyway ...... just need time and some decent weather (or a garage)

Tragically not

Although the 5P Toledo is now finished so this is back at the top of the list of jobs/priorities

i've been reading this forum for a while now ut never registerd or posted before...
but i have to now...
i have a 2000 1.9 TDI Toledo and was thinking the exactly same thing
could i swap that 1.9 for a 1.8T or etter a 2.0 TFSI...
i have a friend with an O2 RS TFSI and that engine is brilliant...
could you please keep all of us posted with how the work is going...
allthough i live in romania i can allmost make it happend
that would be a dream come true
