I've tried to search but to no avail, maybe it's my wording...
Anywhoo I'm trying to find out if it's possible to code a 2015 (for example) key to work on a 2002 Leon? I'm going to be buying an additional key as I only got 1 with my car. But have wondered about the options of updating to a newer style fob. I've found a local shop who can do it based off of manufacturer part numbers to clone a key. But if possible I'd rather take them 2 new keys as blanks and have the coding just swapped over to the more modern fob/remote.
I had it done on my old ep3 as it had a basic key and I found someone to upgrade it to a newer style flip key which wasn't exactly cheap, but maybe the guy seen me coming from a mile away...
Thanks in advance folks.
For those who like a rear end ;-)
