1. Funniest thread iv ever read
2. im young and have an 260BHP+ FR (and no im not minted just smart)
3. Cut the guy some slack because at the end of the day it is his car so we cant tell him what to do with it... if he wants to walk out of his door and think, "damn my car looks nice" and he thinks this because hes stuck an FR badge to the car then so be it. its made him happy. Being a nice person i wouldnt want him to walk out his car and think, "my car looks SH*T" but im not going to do anything about it."

I think we should leave the thread there because its getting a bit harsh now.

I think it's funny.

I think it's funny because the OP keeps reporting posts complaining.

Carry on

Yeah I agree, I'm now going to unsubscribe from this thread as I have got my mudflaps fitted and that was the reason for the thread. And I genuinely hope that people find better things to do other than trying to make people half the age change something on thier cars, espcially at 40 years of age, people should really grow up

All i can say is.. Very mature.

Yes, I also thought it was mature fitting a badge to a car and trying to pass it off as something that it isn't...

The thing is, whilst the whole badge episode was good for a laugh, the actual funniest part is the complete and continual denial and failure to see what is wrong with it!

[edit]
Oh ye, I'm 24 by the way, not twice your age.

I am with you on this one, its your car and its up to you what you do with it! I de-badged my Ibiza because I wanted to do It. Stick with it mate Its your car & your choice!

Let the guy do that if he wants to, who the **** cares man.. you guys must have a really ugly wife or a very little feller.

I have Audi RS4 rims, that dosen't mean i wan't to own an Audi RS4, but the rims look cool okay, so take it easy and let the guy style HIS car the way he wants...

You guys are just lucky to live in a country were your cars cost about the same as for me to get an extra soda from the store for crying out loud! With the money we pay for our cars in Denmark, we could all drive a freaking Ferrari, think about that..

I ove a Seat Leon 2.0 TFSI Sport-Up, not because i can't afford a Cupra, but because the Color of the Cupra suckes ("black/girly purple"), the seats has no heating and the difference when going K04 is to laugh about...

When we import cars from the UK, we pay an EXTRA 180% of what you guys are paying, still, we drive the same cars....

Heehee I wonder if the OP has really unsubscribed? I bet he/she posts again after yet another ripping...... I mean by all means stick a checkered flag on your boot lid or a 16v, TDI or 2.0 badge if it is correct and not telling porkies. The OP just hasn't twigged on at all. I don't really want him/her to remove the badge just because I told them to I just think that they should at least admit that they are gutted that they couldn't afford a real FR. Plenty of people can't afford a real FR but they're not so gutted about it that they go and spend £7 on a sticker to make their life seem better that the person next door.

it's a bit like the ring stickers IMO, if you ain't been there don't put a sticker on your car.

The OP is in total denial that anything is wrong with it and the only excuse they have is "it's my party and I'll cry if I want to"

As Clarcson would say "Looooooser"

We had a thread in the off topic section a whila ago that was called "wrong badge you moron" I would love to be able to link to it but it's gone now due to being too old. Maybe it turned 40 eh?

Yep there were hundreds of posts and shed loads of funny pics of cars just like the OP's with Wannabe up-spec badges on, some were not even the correct marque (BMW "M" badge on a Ford Focus rings a bell) It was a thread full of fail for sure.
