Ok you said, but why? if you knew it wasn't an FR?

In fact it doesn't even matter lol

I was thinking "why has a thread about mud flaps got so many replies"?

Then I spotted the pic.

Well, it does matter actually because when some girl in a 1.4 Corsa does you at the traffic lights she's going to think that her car can do all Leon FR's.Then again when she comes up against a real one that isn't just a wish it was she will get a reality check I s'pose. Why put an FR badge on a car that isn't an FR? Maybe next week you should put an R32 badge on the back for a change?

Not to worry, in 20 seconds I was able to fire up my internet browser on my mobile and go onto the RAC website and enter your reg number. It came up with the following....Seat Leon Sport TDI 105, 2007, 1896cc. So anyone behind you at the lights can see in 20 seconds that you are driving a wish it was FR. Even with a remap it's nowhere near an FR.

there you are mate

The flaps don't look wide enough to do their job of keeping dirt etc off the car. The oem ones do a reasonable job of this and they fit perfectly;)

You seriously don't have anything better to do?

You tease! ;) :D

Infact if some little slapper in a 1.4 Corsa tried to do me at the lights - go ahead, at the end of the day I know I AM the one driving the classy performance car, while she's getting a cheap thrill in her rust bucket - plus I really couldnt be bothered wasting precious diesel, putting my foot down, to entertain her...

... unless it was a 1 Series BMW.
(if someone tries dredging through my old Posts and contradict what I say).

^^^^As said it only took 20 seconds.

You should look into a 6 speed gear knob for your 5 speed box too.

Its funny, your 40 years old, I'm 19 and yet I can act more mature than you, I know not to comment on other peoples cars unless its good things. Please don't comment on any of my posts again

I will post where I like as long as it's within the forum rules.

A mature person doesn't attempt to inflate their cars ego by sticking a badge on it that doesn't belong there.

Well because you have been polite I will be polite and say please don't insult FR owners by sticking a badge on a poxy 105 horsepower car. It really is an insult.

I apologise if it insults you, but its my car and I like the badge to be there, so it will stay there. Just the way you wouldn't change anything on your car on my saying

And 105 hp isn't "poxy," not for a 19 year old anyway IMO

The problem is your incorrect use of the FR badge has turned a modded car which can be appreciated, if not liked in all cases, to one which is instantly disliked.

Interestingly, why not put Cupra where Leon is and drop the FR badge (as the FR is inferior)?

Thanks for the suggestion, but I prefer it saying "Leon" instead of "Cupra," you see its not what makes the car superior to others, its what I like having on it, which is only fair because its MY car which I paid for in full cash

Same here but mine hasn't got a V8 badge on the back

I honestly can't believe how a 40 year old man can sit on the internet and argue with someone less than half his age over a FR badge lol give it a break man, I do apologise if this has upset you, but try to understand, its my car and I want the badge there, its not like I'm putting a badge on your car, if people find it humorous then that should concern me, not you. Anyway, I'm not going to sit and argue over the internet for something that doesn't even matter, even at 19 years old I'm bigger than that, so have fun
