I would say go for a good clean car that has no work done to it. You will find much lower mileage cars for that money that are stranded. My mate got one that was all modded - he went for it cuz he thought he save money doing it all him-self. He's had nothing but issues with the car.
I got mine new and I really like the car and if I was going for another one I would go for one that is slandered.
I agree to put it in perspective i only paid £ 4450 for mine on na 04 plate with 80,000 on the clock full seat service history. 2x set alloys 1x winter 1x summer, k&n air filter, spax suspension, original suspension, original air filter, spare set of brembo pads.
