Aye thot they were gonna be a pain....i whipped the front flaps off my old Polo Gti as i read here thats the only flaps that will fit cos o the skirts.......so what other plans you got for the ibiza?

Just now desperatly looking for a set of lowering suspension, either coilovers or shocks&springs.

Then I'm not sure... Might look into completing the rest of the exhaust, maybe some bodies or something!

Got my lower front strut brace fitted. What a difference! Is alot flatter through the corners, alot less roll! I will get some pictures of it.

Ordered a rear strut brace, so will just need the front upper to complete the set!

Have also done something else but will post pictures when I'm finished.

Now have both seats and harnesses in. Also have rear mud-flaps to go on, and 50/40 H&R shocks and springs Not sure if it will be too low or not but we will soon find out!

now then mate, nice colour choice and car, mines the same, was just wonderin where abouts you got your strut braces from, and general mods like HID kits, lowerin springs and air filter, i cant seem to find any parts for the 1.6 anywhere are they similar to any vw parts or are you gettin specific ibiza parts? any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks damo

Got my strut braces from ebay. Strutbracer gives you amazing deals.

Everything doesn't have to be made for the 1.6 to fit it... HIDs will fit any car. Not sure if the air filter is the same size as a Cupra one but you can measure it up and see, then ask someone in another thread they will tell you. Lowering springs you should easily find them... You can replace the whole unit with a Cupra one if you want to.

Bit of an update, bit useless without pics though!

Finally found the time to finish fitting my new suspension (with uni and all that) and it looks ace I think! Just need to get smaller spacers as it's scrapping too much.

So will get alot of pics (engine, suspension, interior) this week hopefully since I'm home for xmas .
