Thanks andy :)
Got new tyres today, was hoping for a stretch.. but because the side walls are thick as hell, it doesnt look stretched at all :(

Dav~
I have no idea the actual measurements of the tints, but it is called dark smoke on the back + rear window and light smoke(legal limit) on the front.
By behind the arches do you mean inside or outside lol?

Ah i get you now :)
Well i trial fitted the adapters with the new tyres today and it seems to JUST pass the arch, so im hoping it doesnt rub with a full car :cartman:

Not anywhere near show car condition but a million times better than yesterday.
Paint was so bad that the polishing cloth is now yellow...

Heres a pic of his boot install too just for the sake of it.

Did you manage to get those taken without someone flying along the road and you blocking it? :lol: I can never find a quiet country lane round here to do that without someone coming along and there's loads of those roads here!

I take it you like the mudflaps if you still have them on? I put them on about 6 months before I traded it in, but they didn't have the effect I was hoping. It still gets a dirty arse. :blink:

@IainW
I had to wait for a HUGE tractor to come along the road first, but apart from that it was clear, its just a track that leads to a farmhouse so its not like a public road.
To be honest ive never really thought about the mudflaps, they dont get in the way and they look alright so i never really bothered about them.

@Dav
Dont worry about it, more posts for me :p
I dont think you should pull them off because you risk cracking your bumper/inner arch
You could try a flat screwdriver that fits in tight enough to turn the screws, or just leave them on :p

They're screwed in with the existing screws that hold the arch liners in. You really need to take the wheels off to get proper access to the rears though.

Just noticed you have the FR grills fitted. How much did they cost?

Think they look really good, fancy some for mine. Cheers

Hey.
Im not 100% sure i remember correctly, but it was between £50 and £60 for the full set.
2 Upper grills and 3 lower grills.
Also the Debadged central grill was £20 off ebay.

No problem.
I was in the same boat, didnt wanna waste time and money buying and fitting new bumpers when the grills are 5 minute job and keeps the standard look, instead of half facelift half old style :D

Hey dav, not really done anything to it since october.
Been in winter mode since then, just relowered it today actually.

Putting the 17's back on in 2 weeks, then off to a local Fast Car show.

Then its a hunt for a set of HID's and a full stainless system.

How about you? santa bring any goodies?

sounds good. yeah i have a list of small things to do on my readers ride page. i wont clog up this one. most plans will have to wait until after june 24th with school and exams.

cant wait for that day. biggest piss up of my life (so far) followed by a summer of modding!:D

thats the plan anyway.

o ya, is that brake light ibiza cover any good? looks like a nice cheap mod!
