New member to the forum, having purchased my SEAT Leon FR 190 back in March I've done a bit of lurking through the forum and the time has come to announce myself.
A little bit of history, I actually learned to Drive in my Mum's '05 SEAT Leon and so you could say I'm returning to an old favourite.
I've always taken great pride in my cars; whether it be my first car which was a 1.2 Vauxhall Corsa SXi, which first got me into the cad modding scene. My Audi TT Roadster which I absolutely loved the perks of open top driving and then my Fiesta ST which I took modifying to the next level in by going down the route of performance remaps... sadly that didn't end so well.
I won't say who but the Stage 2R blew through one engine in 8 months and then a second 2 months after that and having spent a small fortune trying to get the car back on the road first time round the decision was made to send it to the 'great car park in the sky' and hence here I am with my Leon.
I have said that my remapping experience was enough to put me off for good, but anyone who has dabbled in that area knows the appeal/idea will now never go away.
I've bought the 2.0 Leon FR as it should be a balance between a sensible family car to suit my future life needs and something a bit fun I can still enjoy.
One thing I would like is a bit more growl from the exhaust, I miss the rumble from the Miltek Sport Cat & System I used to have and I really like the aesthetics of the dual exit exhaust. So once the warranty runs out then this is something I might look into.
