Looks great, those brakes really fill the wheels even more than the 312mm! What do you mean by "Galfers"? Cupra's here have AP 4 pots

Yes they fill the huge gap left by the 312 APs, and the 2 piece discs look great too.

Performance wise they are great too . Just waiting for the weather to get better (been raining for many days now) in order to be able to stress test them...

Small update.

Few weeks back i installed the INA high flow exhaust manifold which gave an extra boost on my beezaw high end range (v nice upgrade for the money), however i still gotta figure out that rattling noise it produces during warm up. Aint got time at the mo to take my car back to the garage. Checked myself the 3 bolts holding the turbo and they seem fine...so its coming from the exhaust port bolts i guess.

Got on order the Forge recirculation kit for the bov, as well as the seat sport intercooler boost hose kit.

Other than that my rims were repainted dark anthracite, however instead of mat we ended up going for gloss for better paint protection. (which imo isnt what i was looking for. Should have gone for matt oh well...)

Further tightening of the 3 turbo bolts which didnt resolve my rattling noise...












Few pics (still havent received all of them from the photographer) from a track day time trial event in which i got first position with best lap time and total lap time (5 laps) amongs other members of my citys locar racing club . It was fun even though the car wasnt running full boost, INA manifold wasnt installed yet etc. Looking forward to participating in another event

Poor quality-resolution but i noticed a few things...

Need to tighten a bit my Kw variant 3 bound and rebound settings, got to adjust my whiteline arb to its hardest setting and never forget to increase my R888s air pressure during track days

Small update.

My INA manifold seems to have cracked or something and i ordered a second one about 2 months ago.

Still havent received the mani since it seems to have been lost in customs or something so that i can finally repair my car as this rattling noise during each engine start is so embarasing and annoying...lol

Installed some oval speakers on the 'boot' and sorted out the wiring on my front speakers as the guy who installed in the first hand made a connection error. Therefore the sound on my car wasnt that good...Now its waaaaayyyyy better.

Installed my decat pipe again for testing on low boost and timing revo settings as its quite hot here during summer 36C +

Gave the car a good clean a few days ago with Megs GC shampoo, Clay and just quick detailer(next time ill wax it too) and it looks a lot lot nicer now...

Installed those little cupra white decals on my rear S3 brakes which looks nice imo but i dont think theyll last long


Future plans?

Got the Mk4 cupra bov relocation kit on order

Got to fix my leaking manifold problem as soon as the new one arrives

Going to install some custom pipework for the Seat Sport intercooler and remove the stock ones as i cancelled my boost hose kit order due to the variable piping diameter of the stock pipework. I'll go with custom 60mm pipework.

Need some new tyres as my R888s didnt last long. Less than 7000 kms...so i am either going for the Yokohama advan AD08s which are semis or the T1Rs or Parada spec 2s.... I think T1Rs are grippier than the paradas?

lso thinking about going for 18s...Saw this pic of a friend and i was amazed once again like before with his advanti 18s...

Work Wheels with concave face....exactly what i like...Only prob for me is the scratching of the arches which puts me off as i already have probs with my 17s

Also thinking about going Big Turbo (GT2871)....time will tell though.

The ones i got are made by MS design afaik.

They are quite pricey too

Youd better make your custom ones with genuine cupra grille and get the side ones from the FR too.

They will be dark grey in colour to match your bumpers lower grille. My MS design ones are black...

Oh well you cant have everything perfect

hi m8 nice car by the way was just wondering when u took the 2 bolts out to fit the strutbrace were the bolts holding the suspension on or are they just there to attach the strutbrace to ?

All 3 bolts are attached to the top mount where the suspension is attached at.

Loosening 2 from each side to attach the strut brace is not a problem so dont worry as it doesnt affect the cars geometry either.

Did you get your Manifold sorted yet? I have the same one waiting to be fitted, but seen a few people have troubles with them?

No Mate...i am having serious problems with my mani...

I ordered a second one through INA so that i can remove the old one and install a new one with new gaskets to have my car sorted and then see what was the prob with the old one...however i was once again unlucky.

Paid for the manifold 2+ months ago. Got stuck in the customs for 25 days...then left the customs on the 7th of July...its now 10th of August and the manifold is nowhere to be found...INA is trying to find out where is my order however i am not having any feedback from them in my last e mails where i asked for a refund...

Really really dissapointed now...

Hopefully they will answer my last e mails and give me an update.
