i have resorted to popping the old one back in. Xe, the old one just falls back in without even have to push at it.

I have also swapped back to the original, for me the reception was just too poor, especially if i'm up and down motorways all day, i do want to get a good coverage so i can pick up the traffic info (TP)

Its a good little mod, and if i was in a city or somewhere with really strong signals, then i would keep it, unfortunately for me i don't.

If anyone wants it, PM me and i'll stick it in the post tonight to you.

Cheers,

There's no F in Quality..
Picked up my Altea on Saturday, and fitted the aerial about 2hours later ;)

Haven't had any problems with reception at all, and that even includes a trip up to Matlock/Bakewell in the Derbyshire Dales, which have very poor signals due to the landscape.

and it looks superb to

Got mine fitted 2nd time round as the 1st one appeared on the Mrs 206

No reception problems at all in the 300 miles over the weekend.

Help I cant get the original aerial off. I have pulled and pulled and it wont budge. Would be nice if someone would actually take a photo of the flared end, so I can see what I'm up against.

Otherwise, any tips?:headhurt:

now you wouldnt make very good thieves now would you :p

hold onto the base and try short sharp pulls (ooo errr missus), someone suggested that previously and it worked for me (and the aerial too) :D

You are unscrewing it first aren't you??? Before you yank it!
