So at the moment I currently own the Leon and ibiza cupra both late examples of the model. A friend and I decided to do a sort of tribute photo shoot of the cupras of that time and seat styling.

Tbh both cars needed cleaning but I don't think they look too bad, I'm happy with the results.
I'm not sure what one to keep though.

Is your leon completely standard now then? If not and there are any interesting parts your getting rid of, give me a shout! They both look lush, and I think you should do a guide on here of how to do the trim and lining painting, as I know it can be done just not sure!

Leon still has all the bits on it,I've just taken the wheels off and raised the coilovers to a more user friendly level.it still has all the nice little upgrades all Leon's should have, there is a list in my for sale ad for the car. I only thing I would have for sale is a nearly new green cotton panel filter, this fits LCR etc air box as well.

As for the roof lining, its a nice thing to do,transforms the inside but its a big job and everything needs replacing properly otherwise it will rattle like mad.I fixed loads of rattles and badly fitted trims while i dont mine. It's one of those jobs that I'd say only attempt it if your confident and know what your doing,if not I'd leave it be as you can make a right mess. I washed and degreased the trims, plastic primed and used satin black spray. Uses quite a few tins though.the Leon might actually be Easyer to do tbh thinking about it.

I just sold my green cotton panel, how do you spray the lining? A friend told me his friend did it in her tt and apparently it looked amazing. I'm sure I could manage some trims, I'm always fiddling lol

It's as easy as taking it out propping it up against something and spray. You will loose loads and loads on paint lol

Using plastic primer is a must though mate

Loving the pics of the Ibiza and Leon together mate, both looking really smart. Love the sound of you keeping your cars as clean as possible, good careful owner who takes pride in his cars!! What figures is your current Ibiza running then?

Thanks mate. The ibiza is a stage 1 so around 190/200bhp tops with the forge intercooler and tip etc. It's very punchy with low down power but there isn't much up in the top of the rev range, its sort of like a smooth diesel lol. I do dislike the power band of the ko3 tbh but don't really have much use for more power at the moment due to not getting much power down on the road and not having much confidence in my brakes, i hate standard ibiza cupra brakes so sorting this is top of my list.

I've just bought a brand new set of 312mm calipers, carriers, hoses and discs and pads. I bought new for confidence really not really keen on second hand brakes if I can afford new ones thanks to friends in high/low places.

Still 200 BHP in a little Ibiza is always gonna be good fun! Smooth diesel lol, that's the one thing I miss about a petrol engine car is the rev range available. In this weather a lot of people can't get the power down its shocking but can't blame you for buying new brakes at all - how much did you get the brake kit for then?! Where did you go to get that?!

Well today I've had a massive change of heart, just ordered some new falken ze914 tyres for the lobster claws and they will be going back on the Leon. The ibiza will be up for sale shortly.

Just bought some mk4 cloth Recaro seats, picking them up on Saturday,a deep steam clean, wet vac and treated with "some stuff" then it's leather out and cloth recaros in.

If anybody is looking for some cheapish m4 pd 150 heated leather give me a shout..

I'll post some pics when the new ones are clean

Every picture I take makes them look dirty, there not, I spent hrs cleaning them.

Need to ditch the red rimmed mats and trim my arm rest again. And clean and fit the back seats

Lovely selection of cars. What spacers/adapters did you have for the lobster claws? Been offered a set but wanted to know what else I will need to fit a LCR. Cheers in advance.
