Yeah it was lucky for me but it still causes a right pain in the Arse. The cause of the faul on mine was that whoever had owned the car previousely to me had either changed the track rod end ball jount and not threadlocked or tightened it up macho style or they paid for a garage to replace it and there incompetence nearly cost me my car!! Large ditch with alot of water in it just past the kerb i hit!! Think they call it a F...k...n deep river!!!LOL. But the track rod end came out of the holder if you know what i mean, it could have been alot lot worse but still bad enough!! As for the alloy, you want to speak directly to seat as they will be able to supply you with the part number, size and offset details you need!! If they were declared then you should get a direct Cupra replacement rim, but if not they you may be able to come to some arrangement with the reasonable guys and gals at seat in maybe paying alittle extra or the difference from a steel wheel to an alloy out your pocket for the cupra alloy!! Just an idea, i was insured with CIS for a couple of years and they are very reasonable, as i said, i work long hours so cant really check the replies on this thread often as its classed as inappropriate use of work time and PC's but ring me and il have a chat with you about the best options!! 07845693725
