MPM Engine Upgrade for TDI DSG

I have just ordered a Sport DSG for my wife to replace her Passat. Am trying to find out details of the MPM kit. SEAT UK deny all knowledge despite giving them the web page ref from SEAT.com. I did establish today that it appears to be a software remap. Does anyone know which EU countries support this as I am happy to get the work done in Europe as I assume it will not compromise the 2 year warranty. And yes - I understand UK dealers cannot fix it if it breaks! That is all Customer Care kept telling me.

Ah found it, seems to be something SEAT Spain have come up with, only problem is a lot of the accessories sold in Spain, don't get type approval in the UK.

To be honest you'd be better looking at one of the home grown tuners anyway, REVO, Forge iPro, AMD, APR etc.. Have read through the forums on engine tuning, remaps, chip tuning etc.

But aren't the possibilities for tweaking highly limited by the gearbox? I have the figure 265lb ft in my head for some reason man cannot fathom. Do a search on DSG limit.

Yes thanks for that. I have seen that torque figure as well on this board. I am still waiting for Seat Spain to confirm the pack details. I think the touring car uses the DSG box as well but somewhat uprated I suspect. Only another 8 weeks to delivery...time goes slowly!
