Got my HID kit, well...

got my HID conversion today! :D ... BUT they have H7 not H1 bulbs in! :doh:

Karl is sorting me out tho :)

il post a pic in a bit so u can see it... looks like a good quality kit, and the ballasts are smaller than what i thought! :)

I am pretty sure anyone in their right mind will get a swap on this, and James even implied that he has this under control in his previous quote.

And there should be no "trying" about it. If they sent the wrong ones out they are at fault and it will be swapped.

my projectors are H1 yes... i was sent a H7 kit by mistake! iv sent it back today and will have a H1 kit soonish hopefully! :)

it looks like a nice bit of kit too! very easy to install... plug and play! :yes:

Got my HID kit!!!

it came today!

Karl also put £15 cash in the box to cover the £7.91 postage cost i had to pay to return the H7 kit, and also so i could buy a beer for the hassel! :clap: :cheers:

Well i suppose my main thought is its £60 cheaper so does that mean that:

There making them cheaper and can sell them for less?
There a slightly lesser quality therefore cheaper?
They don’t work quite as well as the others?

As £150 is a far better price but I wouldn’t want to put something like that near water (rain washer bottles etc).

Not putting it down just trying to justify it to myself! As the saving is great but the difference is worth it for a better set (if that makes any sense! Ive got cynical in my old age of modding!)

You can install them where ever YOU want to.... I kept mine away from the water bottle.

and as for the life span, Karl has had his on his car for over a year with no issues. and a years worth with the HID's ... in "my" oppinion, is worth £150. Anything more would be a bonus.
