James, I can't believe you're having such thoughts!!!!

I once bought a spare bulb kit, only to find when I got home, there were Plasma H1's in it

obviously someone returned the kit with the wrong bulbs

J@mes, sorry for bringing this thread back up....

I am in a bit of a situation - my brother got me some angel eyes for Xmas - although they are standalone units. By this I mean they are universal and just bolt on like extra foglights on those old fiestas etc..... :(
I didnt particularly want to bolt them onto my car, and we both (me and bro) thought they fitted INTO original headlamps. Not the case tho. :(

Anyway, bro took em back to the shop - www.rtechshop.com. They refused to give money back, even though they are boxed/sealed with receipt etc.
This means I have £50 of store credit with them. Now they sell b*gger all Leon stuff, but they do have Ultra Auto Angel eyes.

I assume they are the same as yours? I saw you call yours Ultra....
They sell chrome ones at £209 and black at £219. Not sure if I should use my credit towards them.

Have you fitted HID's to yours yet? Whats it like? Was it easy?

And for anyone else reading this - Platinum grey car. Chrome or Black lights? Think chrome myself...

yeh thats what i was thinking - trying to picture the std ones in my head and think they are chrome like anyway, so probably for best. Cheaper too, which is good.

Wanna find out what james says RE the projector bit, and if he has done his HID's yet and if so how good they are.

Man, my todo list is getting FAR TOO LONG again now, just when I said to myself I wasnt spending much more :(

yeh, thats just it - the only black on my car is the LCR splitter and the grilles. Everything else is platinum (obviously).

Anyone with a plat. car got them on with pics?

I tried talking to the "manager" etc but bit stuck as they are MILES away from me - my brothers been talking to them but they wont listen. I have emailed several times but i just don't get anywhere.

I aint letting £50 disappear, so may as well spend it on something. Just not really sure what! Don't want rear lexus lights etc....
