Here ya go:
First piccy of installed 323x28 Brembo Brake on MKIV platform (1.8T) for Leon & Octavia also.

MKIV now sits on my customary Black wheels.. :D

Disks shown are grooved, whereas kit disks will be plain. Reason being the grooves will wear the pads at an accelerated rate, and these pads are quite thin from new.

Upgrades to RS series Pagids is being investigated now, and some trials due to be done. Carbon Metallic have been tried successfully on the Ibiza Brembo setup, which shares the same pads/calipers.

These brakes STOP :) Very well as you would expect.

Wheel hub to wheel spoke clearance is minimum 50mm on these and 17" diameter rims minimum. Wheels shown on the Golf are 8x17 ET30 Compomotive MO's for ref.

Introductory price for the first 5 sets is £675inc vat plus carriage.

regards
Bill

I don't know, but I suspect not.

Calling Syphon... Scotty. Did you try MY03 wheels over your Leon-R's brakes?

Interesting that they are in ET30 offset as I asked Compomotive what offsets they do and this was their reply:

"Hi

very sorry for our slow reply & we can manufacture our 17 MO in the following offsets - 21>26, 34>41 & 44>50

please find following our direct wheel prices -"

No ET30 in there!!

Sorry for going off topic there.

Cheers

You need to check for 50mm clearance as per this dwg "caliper clearance" for more than 50mm to clear the Brembo's,

Great diagram that Bill, where did you find that! ;) :D

I'm not doubting that they are ET30, I'm just wondering why they told me they didn't do them in ET30. Maybe they do different offsets for the 4 bolts to the 5 bolts?

Cheers

How easy are these things to fit? Hows the pagid investigation going?

TBH i was hoping to go grooved as well - wouldn't this make a diff for wet braking? How bad is pad wear likely to be?

the grooved discs might be a good thing, but from my understand, the pads are really not that thick at all.
