New to forum and need some advice on my car I've had for six months now

I've been looking into getting some more go from my Ibiza 1.6 petrol (105bhp) and have found that quantum tuning will get it to 121bhp, which is a 15% increase. For £250 will this be a noticeable increase in power and torque or is at a complete waste of money, thanks in advance

I've no reason to dispute their claims, my friends garage use them and he has had his last three cars mapped by them with great results, best being a 100bhp polo 1.9pd going to 130bhp, in just not sure if the 15% is worth £250 and will it wear the clutch out more?

Hiya,

N/A engines do not map as well as a turbo or diesel.
Saying that there will be some increase to the power and torque. You will probably see more mpg and better drive-ability above all.

For £250 its not a bad deal, just make sure when you go in map it on the fuel it will be using (unleaded/super unleaded). There are supporting mods it will be good to have done first which will see a better increase- Panel filter & sports cat are good ways to go as that will improve the engines ability to breath better too. Service it before and check tyre pressures too.

Good luck.

@OP

JF automotive who mapped mine just rang me to say they have seen this post and they can map the ecu for you, all you'd have to do is take it out and send it to them recorded.

01622 321500 give them a ring, (0044 country code) Mike and the gang down there will sort you out.

Highly recommend them, my mk4 will be going to them and my boc has been. 10/10 real nice guys and great service.
