Hi,

Have looked through this thread and read up that i will need 312mm disks is this right?

I have bought some Seat Sport Calipers were told they were off a Leon Cupra but they look to be off the ibiza cupra as they say seat sport on them not brembo

They fit behind the 17" cupra wheels as seen pictures on this thread but i have 17" Leon FR wheels will they fit ?

Also will i need brake hoses or can i use my standard ones ?

And does anybody have any links where to buy hoses if needed and some grooved and drilled disks that will fit my seat ibiza FR

Sorry for all the questions , cheers

Here are pictures of the calipers :

somebody must know if seat sport calipers fit behind leon fr cupra style alloys ?

I think you need 70mm from the brake disc face to the back of your wheel for them to fit under your wheels

You could try a test fit without dissconnecting your existing calipers from the brake lines.

Just remove the current calipers - bolt in the new ones and see if the wheel fits over them

I bought 312 mm APT discs from Eurocarparts which look great and brake well! plus fitted them with DS2500 pads and now the car brakes as it should with no fading..

hi guys i have just done the 312 set up on my golf with braided hoses from hose teknik (sister company to forge) and i must say it brakes far bettter than standard, obviously i cant say if its the hoses tho but i thought my car is like 11 years old so ill do them because of wear and tear and corrosion, these new ones wont do either! for £50 ish i think its worth it.

Just bought these hopefully they fit:

Comparing the calipers to those for sale on ebay I'm pretty sure they are the 312mm ones:

But, I googled the mintex part number and I brought up a US mintex site that said they were for 288mm discs http://www.eurospecsport.com/products/brakes/brake-pads-VW.htm
yet then googling the coresponding manufacturers part number from the mintex site gives me the correct 312mm ones on this site:http://www.tt-forum.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=102274

Also, if they are correct am I okay just cutting off the wear sensor wire?

Discs are new but not been stored well by the looks of it:

I'm currently thinking about changing the seals to be safe, painting the caliper probably will paint the edge of the disc in an attempt to stop it corroding.

If I was to upgrade to braided hoses is there a kit people have had success with? I've also heard/read different things about whether they are braided as standard or not some saying just the back are some all....

Is there a better fluid I can change to without having to flush every last drop out of what I have now? (standard stuff)

Thanks for any help you can give :)

What year Audi TT has the 312mm callipers on? Is it MK 2 (8J)?
If so, what model(s) have them?

Cheers.

Just brough these:

Am I missing anything from these because they look very bare? Also, anyone shed any light to if they are 100% 312mm. They came from a 2001 1.8T 225bhp Audi TT (apparently)

Cheers
