is it true that you do not require the actuall calliper from the TT just the carrier disc & pads, apparently the calliper is exactly the same on the facelift ibiza as the tt 225, so just the carrier is needed which adopts the old calliper and new discs. Anybody confirm this?

To fit either the 288mm set up or the 312mm set up you will need new hubs off a pd130 or pd160. I have my 288mm set up in the garage if your interested;)

as far as i know you would have to change your hubs to. the cheapest way is to go to a scrappy for 2nd hand ones or try someone like euro car parts or gsf as they will be cheaper then the dealers

at a guess it will be the spacing for where the carrier bolt on to the hub. im not 100% on this so dont hold me to it. if i was you id phone a half decent dealer and ask for the part number for the hubs for yours then as for the number of the hubs for a pd130/pd160

If you have the 256mm FSIII brakes then you will need the new hubs. New from dealers are ~£90 EACH. I picked up a full Furby VRS setup from breakers for £230.

The differences are that the hubs with the smaller brakes have the caliper carrier built into the hub, whereas the LUCAS (288mm) or 312mm have a separate caliper carrier.

adam... My wheels and your wheels are two of the 16s you can get that DO clear the 312s, IIRC.
