I’m livid. But what can I do other than wait. I’ve applied pressure from every angle. Called VWFS myself three times. Nobody can reach the right department either internally or external today. Their lines are shut.
We try again tomorrow and Monday.
Oh don't tell me that! I get the impression that a lorry just turns up and they load on the first lot of cars they come across. I really do not get it, with logistics these days you surely know when a car is going to be delivered?Just got off the phone to nationwide, expected at dealers on 4/11... however they are now not committing to that, it’s could be anyday in the next two weeks from 4/11 due to the number of vehicles getting transported every day. Oh the joys of a Leon cupra.
Exactly my thoughts, get them delivered in willy nilly, get them sent out to customers no matter how long they’ve been waiting. That’s what’s gonna happen I think. (He also told me they were coming from Southampton, I’m sure it’s meant to be Grimsby?)Oh don't tell me that! I don't believe they have ever confirmed to me it's Grimsby, but as that is where the rest have been from I assume they are there and not Southampton. If he told you Southampton that makes me feel a bit better as he might have been talking rubbish.....!Exactly my thoughts, get them delivered in willy nilly, get them sent out to customers no matter how long they’ve been waiting. He seemed to have been reading from a script, he said “seat have said” and then read out what seems like a blanket statement to people awaiting carsI don't believe they have ever confirmed to me it's Grimsby, but as that is where the rest have been from I assume they are there and not Southampton. I'm going to the pub to celebrate another week with my car.
ok, well I guess we shall see then. I said I would give them until Tuesday before I contact them and throw my toys out of the pram again, so I will stick with that.He seemed to have been reading from a script, he said “seat have said” and then read out what seems like a blanket statement to people awaiting cars

Anyone fed up waiting may be interested to know that Bartletts Seat in Hastings are just about to sell on their demo.
Its a 2019 4Drive Lux ST in Mag Grey. 100 miles on the clock.
I don't have any connection with them other than being a satisfied customer for a number of years.
Buckets? MY20?
The buckets aren't really buckets anyway. Pretty much the same seats with the headrest fused to the seat and none ajustable and some additional shoulder support.

Or store anything in the rear pouch, poor buggers. It’d be pretty daft if it did have actual bucket seats considering its intended use. But I take your point.
I feel sorry for rear seat passengers as they won’t be able to see much.
AgreedBut the "buckets" looks about 1million times better, make the cabin feel abit more special compared to a standardseat and for me more comfortable
I'd agree in other cars, like the Mégane RS, but in the Leon they look practicality the same. If you crop the headrest out of the photo you have pretty much identical chairs. It's like a game of spot the difference for the "million times better" look. But the "buckets" looks about 1million times better, make the cabin feel abit more special compared to a standardseat and for me more comfortable
