Sorry for the noddy question guys, but I can't seem to find a definitive answer for this...! Can us guys in the UK order the bucket seats in alcantara, as opposed to full leather?

The uk spec bucket seats are full leather only!
Had it confirmed yesterday on my my15 cupra.

i will check here in portugal,i thought was only in leather

My dealer confirmed that the buckets are only leather as well

I would have preferred alcantara but with 2 kids leather may be a better option

I had a phone call today from my dealer, currently build week 24 ( 9th-15th june) could get moved forward she said, if not could be here end of june beginning of july depending on the ship. Ordered 7th april. Cant wait!!!

Got a word from my dealer: the Cupra 280 I ordered in March has arrived in Finland. Unfortunately it'll be around a week or so until I get my hands on it... Drool is dripping already

Cant believe how quick they can get them built and within a few weeks its on your drive.

My 280 SC DSG (Black) was ordered on 13th March and I'm still waiting, was told 10 weeks then, maybe 7 if I was lucky. It now is expected sometime in June, dealer says there are big delays and that some dealers are telling porkys on delivery times.

when I test drove the Skoda VRS they told me it as a 8 month lead time.

I ordered our Black 280 manual on the 13th March and it arrived at Tyne dock last night. Sounds like your dealer is the one telling porkys as I was original told 12 weeks now as it stands it is one week early. Maybe a shortage of DSG BOXES????

I think there is a certain element of luck involved to be honest. It looks like you and I have reasonably quick orders, but there seem to be a few people in the other thread who have waited a lot longer.

The boat carrying our car docked at Sheerness yesterday evening as well. So depending on the logistics from Sheerness to dealer I think ours will come in well under the quoted 12-14 weeks.

I thought about the VRS recently and was told average lead time is 25 weeks.
