Our Mk2 has just been picked up. Very sad to see it go

On the plus side the Mk3 is being built this week and I hope it isn't 4 weeks until deliver (as Nick says).
Mine is being built next week so should be here start of June I am told.

Alcantara is the standard option

Is that what your dealer is saying? I saw that pic on the net last week and questioned the dealer who stated the brochure options are for black/grey leather and not alcantara. Somethings not right
and I'm certainly not paying for Alcantara seats they suck and wear horribly .

Some folk in the "expected delivery" thread have had quicker experiences from built -> delivery. Having said that, I can easily see it taking a month if the timing means you just miss a boat. Luck of the draw will play a part no doubt.

It will arrive when it arrives, but I'm going to be fighting with Mrs over our one remaining car until it does.

Hi All,
I have been reading through the thread as I am just about ready to replace my Focus with the Cupra when I can decide the exact spec I want. Bit worried about going for the dsg option even though I liked it when I had a test drive last week. So interested in the sort of prices that everyone has been quoted, I have not used Drive The Deal but they are offering very keen deals.
Noticed CarWow has been mentioned a lot, and Stoke Seat in particular. Has anyone used them very recently ?. I put a request in yesterday and had 4 offers only one close to DTD and that was from Scotland and I am in South Wales so not sure what the best option is.

I've only had the 4 offers too and I did it on Saturday. Probably same 4 as lowest price was in Scotland too!

Thanks Both for the reply.
The dealer in Scotland, Ingram are offering a good price -
£25,399 for 5DR, manual, custom paint, leather pack and sound pack.

The next best was the dealer in Chippenham but still £1300 more, shame as that is a lot
closer to Cardiff. The local dealer is being a bit tight.

I have ordered mine through stoke seat. They are my local dealer and we're also the cheapest quote I had through Carwow. Salesman is Brett and would highly recommend him. I know a few people on here have ordered from him and not all are local. When did you submit your request because I know he was off last week so he may have not seen it.

I'm not far from you. Where did you test drive, White Dove? If you go via DTD chances are you'll be directed to the same dealer I was. Still a bloody long way from Cardiff but a lot closer than Scotland.

I got a test drive via Sinclairs in Swansea as White Dove didn't bother getting back to me. They would not negotiate, so didn't get my business in the end.

It was White Dove that I had the test drive. They were very keen to sell a black 5 dr that was in the showroom but at full price minus the £1000 deposit with the finance taken out. So looks like DTD for me, where is the dealer they use if you don't mind me asking.

If you order via DTD it says in the T&C's you aren't supposed to divulge the supplying dealer to a third party. So, I'd rather not say on a public forum. Just go visit DTD website and make an enquiry (it won't cost you because the DTD kickback comes from the dealer not buyer). Chances are, if you approached the dealer direct you would not get same level of discount anyway.

I can tell you the dealer who contacted me is in South East of England. Closer than Scotland.

I got my car from Chippenham. Go in and they will match your offer. As long as they get your name on the dotted line that is!

Were you definitely gonna go for them then? I was tempted but really don't like the white/light grey border and you can't get them in all black so gonna just stick with my black leather.

I've gone for the standard seats anyway so it made no difference

Hi all
I'm pretty close on pushing the button to order a Cupra 280 5 door manual in Nevada White with the Seat sound pack.
The best offer to date is broker4cars. Has anybody else ordered from them? There communication so far has been excellent and they have confirmed I will be the first registered owner on the V5.
I've tried my local dealers but they don't seem interested in offering any decent level of discount.

Ive also submitted my enquiry to them and ive spoken to them previously, dealers are very reluctant to offer any sort of discount at all and when you mention the broker avenue there not to impressed. Its a bit of a no brainer really pay over the odds at a dealer or save loads from a broker, I know what road im going down.

I ordered from them Matty.. I admit it felt like a bit of a leap of faith and selling my previous car privately's a pain in the bum. I just couldn't justify the difference to order any other way though. I was given a 10-12 week lead time about 3 weeks ago.... All my local dealers also wouldn't even give me a quote once I mentioned brokers, they just said "go try and buy it from a broker" along with a lot of FUD talk..
