Just specced up a Leon Cupra 280 with extras for just over £25k. That's a lot more like it.

As long as you realise the 0% percent deal is only available if you pay half the value as a deposit and can take the rest over 3 years max !
But if you have £13k as a deposit then your quids in on savings

Yup, that would be the way I do it. PX (or sell privately) existing Cupra, put in an extra few grand and finance the rest at 0%.

Anyone want to buy a 3 year old Cupra? :)

So I read that as my needing to add £100 to the quote if I want the 0% deal. Or does it mean add £1,100 + £100 for the 0% deal? The quote was £24,134, won't be going for it if it turns out to be £25,334.

I just run a quote through the company car scheme thing and I can get a 280 with leather and a few other bits and bobs for 23.7k. 2k more than my car was, shame about the company car tax!!!

Not sure that is correct Rob.

I bought my car through new car discount (another part of Broadspeed that does VW) and had the £1000 arrangement fee (charge to the finder), £1000 deposit to the dealer plus £199 admin fee.

The balance on my car is quoted price less £2000 - the dealer pays the £1000 arrangement fee. Cost to me to save a few grand = £199.
