well time for a very big update, after having problems with my boost and having tried everything else it was time to take the turbo off. When i got it off it was completely knackered but then i noticed there was oil coming out the head and coming through the manifold. valve stem seals where gone so before new it the engine was in pieces and pistons where out and i was on the net buying parts.
Parts i have now bought
ie forged rods
new big end bearings
sia blanking plate
whole new gasket set
resistors
piston rings
and have sourced a new head with super tech valve springs,valves,retainers
so while the engine is apart iv spent abit of time tie-ding things up iv polished the inlet sprayed my valve cover and my ic pipework is going to get powder coated.

That's not good. Mine is still sat in the garage looks a lot cleaner than my new one I'm thinking there must have been a reson for my stem seals to go as they were fine when I put the turbo on mabey the k04 gave out to much heat. You got a lot of plans for yours?
Yeh that was the plan had a fair bit of interest but it started smokeing and I didn't wanr to sell anyone a problem car. But think I'm gona run the engine in then look at hybrid k04 or sell my setup and go gt28
update put the engine back together last Saturday with a helping hand from a mate all in and working great done 300miles so far had some issus with a coil keep popping up but replaced all 4 and new ones are fine. Now im happy with the power for the minute i need to sort the handling as is all still standard. Will update soon
So I Have decided to go for a gt2871r setup as my engine is good for it now. I sold my turbo setup the other week so the car is currently over with alex at aks tuning getting the downpipe made up. I have updated the first post with the current spec of the car and here is what i plan on adding to it.

Yeh seems that a lot of people are just going hybrid these daysm thought while I'm still young I will put everything into this car then after afew years I will have to grow up and have a boring car lol. Yeh berg give us a hand getting it off the trailer got alex to sit in it black cars get to hot in the sun haha
