was suppost to be wasnt it! ^^^ that didnt really work out that way tho eh!
the golf on the day of mot was exstreamly interesting to drive!!!!
its settled down on the front about anouther 20m and 10mm at the rear and it is SILLY LOW! im even having to wind the coilovers back up as i cant turn the steering wheel as the wheel litrally forces the black trim outwards so not even close to clearing so gonna raise it 10-20mm it some how chewed through £30 of fuel in about 30miles which seems to be impossible but it has according to my fuel guage apparantly ive got the wrong lambda sensor on there so it is running silly rich! so thats being sorted ive got a seized load sensor on the rear axle and a leaking brake valve as well so considering im not able to get propper underneith the car with a light on the whole rebuild im happy that these tiny minor bits were all it failed on as i was worryed about the pipes ect that i couldnt see! anyways new bits are going on today/tommorw and mot will be rebooked and all is well should be on the road for this weekend or maybe next weekend!

im in a really lost situation now and im open to all ideas as to what i should do!

these are the two cars i own

mk2 golf VR6 (obviously)

and

ibiza cupra IHI

i cant keep both cars but the beezer can't be sold yet as it needs to be able to handle the power and be fixed of course! so im gonna have to hold onto this for a while

im not sure if i should have the golf as a daily driver all weather ect

or

have the golf as a show/nice day car and buy a run around banger

IM LOST

Keep the Beezer. It's legendary. I KNOW the Golf is cool too but they don't really like all weather the older cars.

I have an old Mini I did up when I was 16. Spent oooodles on it. I'm running it and the Ibiza atm and I love the Mini to bits but it needs maintance. The Ibiza - never goes wrong. The Mini - nearly 20 and you get like brake master cylinders, clutches, body work, leakes. Just not fun. Whereas the Ibiza is all round fun! Not just sunny days!

So the Mini is going i think.

But then saying that you've replaced practically EVERYTHING on the Golf so it should be a brand new car.....

depends why you put the ibiza up for sale? was it go to you fed up of having to fix it?? or was it you just had enough or was it just circumstances??

You spend 20K on the ibiza and selling it for 12 so makes sense to keep the ibiza for longer.

But on the other hand you have built the golf!! :) looks damn good and you've still got plans for it

tough tough choice which i wouldn't like to make.
