Nice one rash, coming along very nicely. £160 for new window seal rubbers.........very ouch indeed.

Are the rear seats from a mk4 as well?? They look rather like seats that would come from a RWD car that would have a transmission tunnel running through the middle, hence no back middle seat.

Also can't believe you got the spare mk2 with all those parts and a vr6 engine for £400!!! What was the catch??

theyre carrado rear seats. there was no catch at all with the spare mk2 just lucky i went on line when i did and found it! EXSTREMLY CHEAP! even if the engine has gone its cheap :lol:

thanks for all other comment more progress soon when i can find time as the mrs is doing her rocker :( whats so hard about letting a man do his hobby :D

Will be nice with a VR6 in. :D

Drove a Corrado VR6 the other day and I haven't really driven a petrol before that has impressed me with it's pull - until the Corrado. :D Pulls well up in the revs and the sound track is pretty nice aswell! :)

RobFR came to our last SEAT meet and he has a VR6 supercharged in his Corrado and it sounded amazing!

internet is pants in my new house so cant stay connected long enough to upload pics ect but

painted LOADS AND LOADS of bits stripped everything off my donor car eg

G60 Big brakes
driveshafts
corrado subframe
lower arms
steering knuckles
shocks
arb
hydraulic clutch pluming and mechanism
power steering pipes and rack

as im fussy i wanted all this pulled apart and rubbed down cleaned and painted its taking me ages but will look top when its all painted

ive bought

sachs clutch kit
net top mounts for front suspension
front bearings
6 branch stanless steel manifold
jettex full system exhaust
loads of rubbers and missing trims (new)
g60 brake pads
fk coilovers
g60 corrado HUGE front radiator
samco 7 pipe silicone hose kit (black)


SO SO SO MUCH more to do!

but may have engine bolted in this weekend and most of the suspension in wiring looms have half been swapped still nee to fit the fuse box and dash looms ect

ive got loads of pictures and will upload them asap!

borrowed from a good mate who borrowed it from his work :)

loads more done engine is out of donor car and sachs clutch is fitted gear box has been cleaned and painted black (looks the nuts) engine is half stripped down so i can send some bits off to be powder coated and genrally check out theinternals and it is MINT inside! new chains cams ect ect as was stated so fingers cross should run GREAT! alsopainted the rest of the suspension. rubbed down and painted the COMPLETE engine bay and re stonechipped the underside (front of the car, G60 brakes are now red, just started rubbing down the engine for some good old hammerite loving :lol: will update with pics asap! probably tonight :)
