loads done tonight had alot of the holes and rust and badges washer jet holes ect welded up and smoothed anyway pics will be doing loads after work too

just needs rubbing down then thats anouther bit done

heres the single wiper convertion and de aerialed the wing too once angain just needs rubbing down so il be smoothing the doors and 1/4 pannels tomorrow

I just cant get my head around how fast this is coming together. All the repairs look good.

One thing i never understand is how you can seal everything up so no water gets in (rust). How did you do the aerial smooth? Sick somin behind the hole then smooth it with P38?

nope welded the hole shut grinded it down fat and non sink thick filler over the top just needs to be rubbed down flat

no chance of leaks

done the beezer all night so will be doing the golf on sunday

weathers been pants so no phisical progress but i have found a mate of a mate to respray the golf for £370!!! wont be a spot on job but will be good enough for a run around this saturday the weather is suppost to be alot better so me and mate will be rubbing down the filler and blanking off the moulding holes and tiding up all the filler work also will be cutting out rust in rear pannel and n/s sill ect thats about all i can update at mo
