Update:
Turbo is now sitting on my desk, WOOHOO!! with a lot of other strange looking parts...no idea how it pieces together
They have sent me the ATP tip as well, but this has come with a bran new K&N cone type filter
I am wondering if the intake pipe is larger, and my Carbonio is going to become redundant? anyone know at all?
anyway it wont be in my hands for very long, I have just called CR Turbo's and they are picking up the unit on Monday to see if it can get some hybrid treatment - cost will be about £150, £200 absolute maximum! All depends if it can be done really, so hopefully will have a further update on the turbo by end of play next week for those that might be thinking of this route as well
slow progress indeed, but at least it is getting there now. next is clutch and brakes to be done and then all the turbo work and map can go ahead
probably wont be done now till back end of this year. Progress on this has been frustrating, but I think I did not set some realistic time frames for how long this sort of work would actually take (being it my first piece of work like this). Hooch's is a massive build and a lot more complex than mine, but should have learnt from that thread really that these things can never be done over night!
it continues.....
