Yes and no, the air will flow through the oil cooler, same as the intercooler doesn't block the radiator, plus the Pro Alloy intercooler has a large surface area and the oil cooler is relatively small. I'll trial mount it and see how it goes, the hoses are pretty short so not much scope for manouvering.

Forge MBC now ordered, arriving on Thursday hopefully, so can have a go at plumbing it in over the weekend

does it just sit between the N75 valve?

Replace the n75 completely and leave the N75 plugged in so it doesnt throw any codes.

so it stays plugged in electronically, and I take off the two hoses feeding onto this and put them onto the MBC

Yes but it must be connectected the right way around.
Make sure the boost is not set too high. I would connect a bike pump to it with a gauge and set it so it starts to open at about 1 bar and then adjust it up after logging. Personally i would say that vag com or at least a boost gague is essential to avoid tears.

I would come up the M26 to Surry, onto M25.

I have got a boost gauge, and I will wind the EBC right down at first, then its a case of driving, stopping and adjusting, and so on

furthermore I managed to take some pics of the engine bay with a question about the turbo

When I spoke to Will, he said on the end of the Actuator rod, there was a pin, and there should be a clip of some sort to ensure this pin does not become loose or off. The pic is not brilliant but if you look through the manifold, you will see what I mean

does anyone know about this at all? I am going to give CR Turbo's a ring in the morning and ask them, but seeing if any of you guys have any ideas about this at all?

next issue is where the pipe from the FMIC comes up, it has been pulled up a bit so it fits onto the turbo, which is causing the 90 degree elbow silicon hose to bend a little in the middle so I need a slightly less angled silicon hose to stop it from becoming narrower in the middle

you cant really see it from the picture, but as its over bent it becomes ever so slightly restrictive in the middle - think I should replace it?

the "wooshy" Carbonio had to go, as it did not fit and has been replaced by a standard air filter

where is the best place to get a cold air feed from i.e. hosing (preferably of the material type as that soft alu stuff just splits and is awful)

With regards to that pin, its a bit difficult to see as the wastegate rod is at a slight andle on it but is the pin parallel? I would expect to see a recess all around it for an 'R' clip to rest in.

Its just a circlip. Get them from diy or motorfactors. Need to know what size you need. Good luck putting it on.

just called CR Turbo's and they are going to get a clip sent out to me and are now looking around the workshop for an oil restrictor to be made up

in laymans terms, what is the advantage of the oil restrictor in place (to restrict oil yes) but why?
