I get 380 driving in my normal style, the very best 450 driving like a Granny.

See running avg consumption below but have poxy commute, significant differences on a run even with a semi heavy foot, any differences in consumption on the plus side if re-mapped??

it depends how the car is mapped. i have noticed an increase in mpg when 'pootling' around, but worse when you boot it. its better around the doors because the torque is up so you need fewer gear changes (like a derv), but gunning it squirts it in like a horse taking a leak! the average ends up about the same.

mpg shouldnt really be a consideration for mapping though.

go for smiles, not miles per gallon.

I got 430 miles on my last tank, fr 2.0 tdi, that was with around 1/2 on the motorway (mixed speeds) and 1/2 normal roads with spirited driving, id fully expect 500 at least if i drove economically though :D
