ok, tried fitting the MBC today and I am confused

I understand you still leave the N75 plugged in electronically - DONE

the N75 fits into the TIP, so I took it out and blocked off the TIP - DONE

the vac line from the actuator fits to the underneath of the MBC - DONE

the vac line into the charge pipe runs onto the side inlet of the MBC - DONE

MBC is wound right down and its running silly boost

what am I doing wrong?

You've plumbed the mbc in wrong.
The boost feed from the charge pipe feeds into the botom of the mbc (assuming a forge unos). The output from the mbc (side) feeds the actuator hose. ;)
happy days.

Also start with the mbc with the stronger of the two springs wound to its minimum setting.
ie strongest spring on lightest setting..... NOT WOUND UP TIGHT.
increase load by two clicks at a time, logging in between. Don't exceed 1.5 bar max boost.

My disclaimer.......... Jamie it was looking good the last logs we saw please don't blow it up.

Tony.. I've told you this already?!?!?!

boost goes into the base of the forge mbc, is exits out of the side to the actuator.

when I ran the same type on matts briefly, I set it up on my compressor so I could dial in the leak pressure on the regulator so I knew roughly what psi it was going to start opening at.

do you have a softer spring to put in?
is it wound all the way counter clockwise?

sorted

changed the spring for the softer one and its now boosting to 1.1 bar, with some quick initial adjustment, now showing 1.2

will dial in more when I am out logging, so to make sure everything is OK

thanks for the help:)

your a serial fiddler are'nt you :)

he he, yes I am

just seeing the differences really

after all of this I may switch back to the N75. the MBC made a big difference with the ever failing gt2x setup, just interested to see how it reacts with a hybrid k03
