Magnex 6"x4"

i've got a magnex full system on my car but i hate that the tailpipe is so huge. (others love it and i liked it a first but now im not so sure) can i just replace the back box and put a universal one on it?

not too techincal so go easy on me!!

Go to a custom exhuast company and then you can have a choice of what ever tail pipe you want.

You could just replace the end can for a universal one, but the key point of that exhaust is that lush box hanging off the back..

I have one on mine and its the dogs danglies

it just seems to hang so low on mine and it looks crap.

can you just replace it with a universal? no probs with measurements etc?

i personally wouldnt bother with a universal one... itd cost as much to get a custom back box done and itd be a hell of a lot easier.

i got quoted 100 pounds for a custom backbox on my ibiza from longlife exhausts. and that was with a choice of any tailpipe i wanted

i got my full system done by a custom place.... 6x4 oval with a straight through and a sports cat - £400 all stainless steel and its nice!!

Keep the magnex tail. Ive got one and love it too bits.

yep i like my magnex, good make, and sounds nice, word of advice, get a really strong small rubber hanger, and put that on it at the back to keep it as high as it will go. as i had the same problem and mine looked too low but now i've shoved a new hanger on it it sits nicely and doesn't look to huge!
