MAF Values - REVO

Took the car for a quick log this evening in the pouring rain..

I'll get the full log spreadsheet tomorrow but having a quick glance before the battery died the the maf had topped out at around 144g/s

Is this good or bad?

If it's bad do i need to check anything else before paying for a new MAF?

My K03s with stage 2 revo pulled 169g/s

Can you measure boost using vag-com?

Which block # is it?

You need the full payed up version for that. It's Block 118

its block 115 if you want to log requested vs actual
140g/s on REVO is low, even on an ibiza

020 is Timing Corrections (Timing Pull)
115 is requested vs actual boost
118 is N75 Duty

All of these will come in handy

3rd gear from 2.5 to 6k rpm.

I'll try a fourth gear run this evening, i wont be going out if it's raining again was scary trying to slow the car down whilst hitting loads of surface water, lol!

It has a crappy stainless steel filter fitted, i do intend on having this changed.

Tim, the log rate is very low...are you doing more than 1 block at a time?

Might be worth having a look on the Ross-Tech site for tips to speed up the sample rate.

PhilW had similar issues, pulling 144-145g/s, same result when using my maf too (proven 155+). Turned out it was his airfilter, switched back to his dynatwist and the figures improved, 154g/s.

Im sure he will correct me if im wrong

I was rushing around trying to squeeze the logging at half time last night.

I just pressed go on the 3 blocks and then start and began to drive.

The laptop was running out of battery quickly and slowing up.

Now i am more familiar with what i'm doing i'll have another go tonight!

Tim, on your next run have a squirt with just 002 running, should give you a much more detailed log as you'll be getting more samples per second

But only option I have in VAG is export to CSV file ( comma separated )
and it doesn't looks so cool in excel :\

Yea, you need open the CSV file in excel, then select the cells containing the data...then copy and paste it into the forum reply window.
