Nice car you have yourself from the sounds of it there, you'll love it everyway apart from the fuel consumption, it can be terrifying sat in traffic with the A/C on!!

thats the same as mine mate sure its all that rare?? things like carbon plate sourounds are not that hard to add and it has a 1.4 bumper? whys that???

I think they are quite rare post 97 i only know of a couple of cupra's with A/C. Unless its a late registered, rebadged GTI 16v

Well I dont really care that much if it is or isnt rare. But it sure is nice to have AC and leathers and only 50k on the clock

p.s. 1.4 front splitter is no more. Now replaced with a GTI one with a LCR splitter. Together only costing £36 from the dealsers.

Nice looking car, not too sure about the LCR splitter - doesn't look like it suits the 'square' look of the mk2? maybe it's just the angle

Interesting. I bought my 16v Cupra new in Feb '99. Has exactly the same list of kit you mentioned but not the carbon bit round the number plates.

I thought that the 16v Cupra's only came with aircon and that it was the older GTi's that had the sunroof. So when I saw mine with both the sunroof and aircon I couldn't work it out. Spoke to Seat about it and they couldn't find the model numbers in their system.
