The SDI is 65BHP isn't it? Its non turbo as well so will be sucky imo. The TDi is a much nicer engine.

For instance the 1.7SDI that orignally graced the polo has been replaced with a 1.4TDI which is cleaner, more economical and more powerful for a smaller displacement engine

What about a Toledo? I paid £4900 for mine and that was an immaculate 51 Plate w/ 53k on the clock. Has all the goodies such as cruise, climate etc as well

I'd turn it down and spend the same amount of money on a TDI ; ignore the benefit of a low mileage as well. I'd still go for a higher mileage car that's had full service history. The SDI's are horrible to drive ; and you'll struggle to get anything for it when you punt it as well.

Bear in mind that - since it's registered as a TDI - you'll probably be paying insurance for a turbo diesel when you shouldn't be as well.

Have a look on Autotrader to give yourself an idea of what else you can get for the same amount of money.

when it also comes to selling it on, your car will get so much rejection, people will bog you down with every stupid question where the sun dont shine. you'll end up shedding tears.
buy a tdi which will give you more value for money
