Looks good, prob the best i've seen, maybe the centre lugs need a little bit more taking off, it seems to sag a bit in the middle

Do you find it catches on speedbumps at all?

Think I will get one ordered

thanks, yeah i know the centre sags slightly but i thought i will be getting a new one early next year when the bumper gets a respray so will just leave in until then lol.

i have only ever scraped it once on one of them small speedbumps that are in the centre of the road, i usually put two wheels over them but on sunday i was forced to go over one normally. but if that scrapes i know that i have a chance something else will scrape so i get out and check to mkae sure, it is the lowest part on the car so its like a warning lol.

I decided that it needed to be gloss black to fit in well with the car

I quite like the look of that. Have toyed with buying a splitter, but I am just not 100% sure and wondering if it is slight overkill. However, looks like you have done a good job there Dale...might be tempted to follow suit, but I would carbon effect I think.

I wouldn't say it's an overkill at all
Makes it look a little more aggressive
Yea Carbon effect would look good!!!

Right Dale, need a bit of help here. I picked up the Cupra R front splitter today. How much of the pieces sticking up in the middle of the splitter did you remove? See pic below. Was it just the 'clip' parts at the top of the two centre pieces or did you have to cut of more than that?

Did you use a heat gun to help mould the splitter into place? Or did you just use self-tapping screws to shape it to the way you wanted? What size of self-tapping screws did you use?

Thanks in advance.
