I don't think many people look at the servicing section below, so I'll try here:

My 06 Leon Ref Sport tdi is 500 miles off it's 80k service .

The car has been serviced by main dealers to date and I plan to run it for another 70 to 80k (ish). So has anyone got any good recommendations for dealers or independants in the Cambridge (home) or Luton (work) areas and any ideas on how much it'll be

TIA

I used to use MK seat at Milton Keynes which is a couple of junctions up from Luton.

I used to get a taxi back down to Luton as I work at SKF.

They were OK to be honest, but I started to take it to my friends garage (independant) after the first couple of services local to my house in Brum.

Take it down the M11 and the M25 to AMD technik in Thurrock.

Should take you about an hour. Ask in their forum for a price.

Either that or there's Grants seat in braintree, but I've never used them so YMMV.

Ok, made a few calls and prices as follows (for future info)

Letchworth Autoway £700 - no water pump
Audi-Specialist (Burwell nr Cambridge) - £559 no water pump
Total VAG £537 - inc water pump
******* (St Albans) - £644 - no water pump
VAG tech £622 - inc water pump
Didn't even bothering with Marshalls in Cambridge, probably in the thousands !

It amazes me how much you can save by making half a dozen phone calls :funk:

I know who'll be getting my money :)
