Hi,

probably 150 - 200 euro for mmlink device. Price for complete package is variable due to too much mib unit versions on the market.

At the moment I am still working on bluetooth integration to MFA+ cluster, but on new functionality "vehicle status faults" too.

Vehicle status is main part of the mqb mib unit system so I want adopt and visualise system faults from PQ car to MQB unit.

Low fuel warn is working now

For android auto there is needed to connect USB socket 5g0035222e 5g0035222h but in Ibiza 6j there is no support for this socket so I figured out that OEM center console from Ibiza 6P with part number 6P2863241B is fully compatible with older Ibiza 6J.

It look verry Nice. But i have a 2014 FR with start stop. I know cars with start stop is difficult to place other headunit because there is a wirering harnass needed for relocating Emegrnecy turn signals button, airbag light etc..

And it fits very well. I think that its possible mount 8" screen from leon too. I tried 5,8" and 6,5" screen.

In mqb variant there is main unit located in glowe box and display unit in dashboard. There is available glowe box with place for mib main unit from Ibiza 6P compatible with ibiza 6j dashboard as I wrote above. So mounting is 70% OEM. Need to make only frame around the display unit and side holders for display unit.

Very nice but not a easy mod. I have modded a RNS 510 (with DAB+) from a Toureg in my Ibiza. I have installed a MDI with bluetooth and a rear view camera on it. Everything works fine and 100% with the steering wheel unit by the steering wheel

Hi, nice, I start thinks with this rns unit but its very old hw, better solution is pq unit of the mib 2 called Mib 2 std pq from vw, this version is software cutted std version from mqb platform. Car menu is missing but after some patching view only few params. This unit is compatible with ibizas 6j but too big for dashboard. With mqb unit and pq - mqb bridge car menu is fully working and vehicle status too.

The RNS platform starts from 2008 and is not very modern now these days but it is fully functional and not that hard to install. The only thing that that is stopping Ibiza 6j drivers to install a decent radio/navigation is the freaking odd dashboard. There is absolutely no good alternative for the OEM stereo. Here in Holland some guys modded a RNS 315 in it by cutting out the dashboard.
