Adding navigation to OEM Infotaiment - LEON 2019 5F

I recently purchased a SEAT LEON FR 5F 2019, which is very beautiful and all but it came with the digital dash and infotaiment system but no built in navigation.

My question is can I add OEM / Factory navigation without physically changing anything but more just "updating" the system with newer OEM code to include this navigation?

Do I need to add a SIM card of some sorts?

Sure I can just "use" apple carplay but that is not what I am after, what I want is the map being able to be displayed in the dash like the picture below, and that is not possible with the carplay or I have atleast not figured out how to display apple carplay maps onto the dash like below, Thank you.
I want something like this completely OEM (picture taken from google)

First of all you need to install a GPS antenna/receiver. You may buy an original part or an aftermarket one, both would work fine. Before that you may need to check whether your infotainment unit in the glovebox has GPS connection port, some basic units may not have it.

As for the software side, SEAT was selling navigation system license and it was listed in SEAT original accessories website. I'm not sure if this is still valid. As an alternative, there are unofficial aftermarket ways of activating navigation, as a DIY job or as a paid service by third parties.

I don't know of any device from the mib 2 generation that doesn't have a navigation system but does have a GPS connection. So you have to swap the unit. The next problem is that officially a unit with a navigation system won't work anyway. Because if you marry it to the vehicle and activate the functions, it will pull from the online servers what equipment the vehicle had from the factory. So it needs a patch.

Yes, it has no navigation options at all.
Some people have changed front screen and put the wrong one in without the Nav button on it but if you know the car / read off the part number you can workout what you have. Where that has been done you can see navigation on the menu, just no button. It's where the screen is broken and they buy just the part, wrong part. It's pin compatible but no button that says nav. Thought I'd better mention that.

Always been a love / hate relationship between Seat and built in navigation. They shouldn't have made units available without navigation.

Thank you for the reply, I am wondering how can I figure out the part number / or my car spec. I cannot find any good like VIN Number lookup to see exactly what I got

Menu, settings, system information. Top line. That's a mib2 high. Etc. Yours will be whatever that says.

I have looked at my car and the information It has given me are only four rows compared to yours,

Device part number: 5F0035842A

Hardware: H50

Software: 0514

Media-Kodec: 5001.0.0.1

Assuming I have the worst computer in car then and the part number for a new car computer I should buy needs to be:

5F0035874A MIB2 Standard most

5F0035020F MIB2 High most

And obviously pairing it with the optical cable and the antenna/gps receiver
