I'm going with 15 mates already.

One Nissan pickup
one Land Rover race spec
one new XKR
2 x ducati / other bikes

We'll be getting an acid house flag / beer mountain flags up and a Seatcupra.net if I can get one ;)

We're staying at Karting Nord and have booked the ferry tickets for Wednesday before the race.

Also got T34 grandstand seats for some of us :) Role on Le Mans 2007!

If I win the lottery or get the dream job I'll take my car too.. which won't be a Seat....

I'm definitely going to this, went this year with the lad, and going next year solo as he won't get the time off school :p

Not booked camping or tickets yet, will always get onto Beauséjour as we did this year. Booked the Dover-Boulogne crossing on SpeedFerries Wed 13th 10am and Mon 18th 12 noon return.

This year (my first) was awesome, as has been said already, it's so much more than the race. Can't wait ;)

You'll need to book sooner rather than later - it's an EasyJet-style pricing arrangement so the later you leave it the more you'll pay. I paid £29.00 each way.

This year we got the 12 noon sailing but we set off from home about 3am to be sure of not getting stuck on the M25 somewhere. We could have made the earlier sailing easily but it was full anyway so we couldn't change the booking.

:( they better cough up quick...

Already booked for Beauséjour with group ive gone with for last 2 years, will have a Beermountain flag,Aston flag & probably St George flag flying as well so shouldnt be too difficult to spot if ya wanna stop by for a beer or 6!

There from afternoon tuesday to sometime following monday..also going with speedferries (Tues 10:00 - Mon 22:00) have used them every year. We go for the late sailing so its a nice leasurely monday none of this gettin up early & racing back for the ferry malarky!

I'm sure Vitaphone will want to accept, but at the moment the MC12 doesn't meet ACO rules, too long & too wide. Can't see Aston & Corvette being happy at its inclusion unless it fully complies, so they'll have to chop it or run the Saleen they have used previously in FIA GT, although they are notoriously unreliable.

The MC12 would be cool, in fact if it rains, it could be challenging for an overall win.

Just waiting on the group organiser to pull his finger out ( Mart )

Who Me :p

Right I think its about time this was booked. I am thinking of going through http://www.teamlangoustine.com/ and the prices are as follows.

General enclosure per person £50

Camping. Houx Annexe £55 per car or Beausejour £50 per car.
(I personally would prefer Houx Annexe, being closer to the action and all that. Vote)

Ferry crossing Dover-Calais £55ish (P&O) or Dover-Boulogne £75ish (Speedferries)
(Im easy either way, another vote)

You can get Grandstand seats together with the General enclosure price and the work out at about £140 for the 2. per person.
(Im not fussed about Grandstand seats t.b.h although they would be nice to watch the start & finish, personally the extra £90 would be more suited to beer tokens)

Do we have a final list of people who want to go?

I would have thought that We really need to put a deadline of the end of Jan for pre-booking, or just wing it and see what is available nearer the event.

Just so you know when we booked ours through team langoustine about 3 weeks ago. We were told they had no HA left just Beausejour. It maybe further away from the village but you get a much better view of the race as its right on the porsche curves & HA isnt that far away so you wont miss out on mad friday at the roundabout.

I think that I am liking the idea of camping at Beausejour now seeing as all my requests for other sites have hit a brick wall.

I still think we could probably find them for the main sites but it might take time, be uncertain, be a bit cramped and may end up costing a fair bit.

I am speaking to a chap who has reserved an area of Beausejour for this year capable of taking 90 pitches, I know he still has some free and it sounds like it could be a laugh and a good party atmosphere.

The site might be a little way out, but in reality its only ever going to be a 25min tops walk to the main village plus you do get a pretty good view of the track from the site.

Im still waiting on a couple of e-mails to come back first before we finally decide. But I would be Happy with Beausejour.

http://www.teamlangoustine.com/camping.html Beausejour is D at the bottom of the map

I have had further discussions with the chap (Guy) who has the allocated site at Beausejour. IMO I think we should go with it. I have had e-mails off most agents now and all that has been offered now is Beausejour or Bleu Nord anyway.

Guy has retained a 5000-sqm area of the site, which will be cordoned off, and your own 50sqm plot will be reserved. He is happy to reserve our plots together within the confines of the camp. The beauty of this is that when we arrive we know there is going to be a pitch already allocated. It will be less of a fight to find a suitable pitch, and you know that if we go out in the cars on Friday/Saturday we wont have to worry about coming back and finding someone camped out in the space. (It does happen)

We are going to have to arrange Ferry crossings. I have no objection to the 10 am Speedferries crossing on Weds 13th then we can hook up with Paul, but I will go with the flow. Return crossing I would prefer a crossing a bit later in the afternoon on Mon 18th, something like 2.00ish, don’t have to be up at stupid O’clock Monday morning.

The price of the camping ticket is going to be £99.00 per car, it’s a bit more than face value but for the convenience of a garenteed spot, I personally think its worth the extra. There is a planned Hog-Roast on the Friday night. All we need to do is stock up at the local supermarket with huge quantities of beer and stuff.

The general entrance ticket can easily be obtained whilst there EUR 61 per head. There is also a car graphics package at £25, but I will have to wait and see what it looks like before I commit. I had been badgering Seat Sport for some old redundant graphics like off the BTCC cars or the old SCC cars, but they didn’t play ball.

So that’s it then. It looks like its just me and you then Phil, unless anybody else fancies it. I want to reserve our places end of this week / early next week really, to be sure of having adjacent pitches, so if anybody else is up for it shout now please.

Booking forms and payment requests will be out in the next 4 weeks or so.

I will be going down on my own in my car, so if anybody wants to go but doesnt want to drive down there then they are welcom to hop into my passenger seat.
