Every thing has been tried tho , still don't see how yours is fine and bills made 344bhp from one i thought cr turbos were the good ones and TD made crap ones , why does one car make power and the others don't ? He has every mod the others do

Willy has a different engine is my only guess and my 2 hybrids had different spec, because as its seems every turbo to come out of the CR workshop doors seems to vary.

Rob - dont give up on it yet mate. Are CR Turbo's no willing to do any more development work on it? I understand its costing you money so it may not be an option to send it back but surely CR turbo's are willing to assist with this?

If they are not then are there other companies that are willing to work with you on this? AET Turbos, Turbo Technics...?

Yeah its about money now and the lack of, everytime the turbo comes off its €400+ i am thinking about sending the V1 hybrid to TD for analysis/modification.

So why isn't yours making the power ? You have every mod to make it happen how are some getting it and others don't , is it your mapper ?

The tuning company is charging you 400 smackers every single time? Thats a bit off to be honest as surely its in their benifit to help you with this?

If I had a ramp I would do it myself, the turbo on the transverse 1.8t is a proper cnut to get at.
I think Robdon got some ramp style rampy things...they looks pretty good and he managed to most of his work on them. Cant remember what page he posted it on so might be worth asking him.

Robbie, the k04 removal and refit on the lcr is a pain but quite doable. i did mine years ago over the course of a week end an hour or two at a time. Axle stands and jack was all the access equipment needed. I recon 4-5 hours it would take me second time around.
Very satisfying but not to be underestimated as there will always be the one nut that refuses to move or that one tool that your missing. Start it friday night and by sunday afternoon you'll be back on the road without overdoing it. Just give yourself plenty of time .:)

The £400 you would have spent on getting someone else to do it could be spent on hiring a garage with a ramp for a weekend and buying all the tooling you need ;)

Ordering up the forge Big race kit, i noticed my old FMIC was losing pressure across the core and i am wondering if there is a bottleneck there, i guess i will soon see when i get the forge kit, should be here next week :) Can't wait.

I noticed your thread on this, with regards to the inlet/outlets being a bottle neck. Will be good to see how it differs if any with the new kit. Even if it doesn't it's extra wh0ring points for getting the Forge ;)
