LCR vs ASTRA VXR

Any one had ago against one of these?i have just had a bit of fun with one and i think i upset him as i started pulling away from him his face was like that should not leave me i have more power than it .Best thing it was up a duel c way that have lights at the end of them and they changed to red so i put brakes on and stopped and he was that pissed he ran the red light.He must not have wanted another go oh well i am sure i will see it again .

Ive had a quick blast against one, was neck and neck... Gutted coz I wanted to pull past him to show him it was a Diesel!

Nice one mate.. I've come across 4 now and all of them have had middle aged blokes in them, that have been doing 55mph in the inside lane with no interest whatsoever... What's the point in having it, if you're going to ponse about at 55mph? I'm not saying drive it like he stole it, or even race.. But these were like 90 year old learners...
My time will come...

Ok, might throw a spanner in the works here, but thought I'd mention Ive driven the VXR, and OMG its mental, pulls away like a wippet on speed and throws you back in the seat with a shunt...the LCR dont! I think I would have got one... but not at almost 20k! too expensive!!!! Great car, fellow LCR (and Diesels) owners approach with caution!

I knew it was going to be fairly close, but never thought they'd be nothing in it. Although to be fair it was a quick blast only in the one gear between roundabouts, 3rd gear pulls like a biatch in my sooty.

I think he said the Intercooler isn't fitted yet.
